Commissar

A short game about deciding verdicts for suspects in a totalitarian regime.

The main purpose of this game is to provide data for analysis for my master degree thesis, aimed at behavioural research in videogame players. I am a finishing master degree IT student at University of Constantine Philosopher in Nitra, Slovakia. 

It does not anyhow interact with your computer or gather data about you via background data collecting or any form outside your knowledge, the result of your playtrough is output as result.txt on your desktop and you have to send it yourself to my email address: dreameaterxn@gmail.com.

The following mail format suffices:

Subject: Game result

Content: <age as number>

                        <anything you wish to say further>

The playtime is around 20-30 minutes.

I will greatly appreciate anyone taking the time and effort to assist me in gathering data about the choices you make during the playtrough. Additionally I would appreciate if you provided your age as I intend to seek correlation between decision making at specific age cathegories and seek to compare them to eventually draw some sort of conclusion about people's decision making tendencies and possibly moral values.

How to play: Read info about the case. Choose a verdict. The most important part is the text window that appears after each decided verdict. I need you to describe the thoughts that led you to your decision, that is what will be subjected to analysis.
